Finished Stash Buster Rug

The Stash Buster Rug is complete!

Image hosting by Photobucket

The finished size is 29" x 49". I am pleased with how it turned out and I would like to make another.

That looks so good! Weaving is on my 'to learn' list and it would be great if I could do stuff like that! :-)

Love it, love it, love it, LOVE IT!

You could honestly hang that on the wall as a piece of abstract art. It's gorgeous.

Your toes would love it 'hockey mom'. It is the same on the bottom as it is on the top, so doubly thick!

Sue, weaving is great fun and, like knitting, there are lovely projects to fit all experience levels, from the most basic to those that challenge the more experienced. This particular project isn't difficult.

Leisel, I am considering hanging it. My home has wall to wall carpet in most rooms so I don't really need small rugs.

you can weave rugs for my house, lol! i've got hardwood flooring in the kitchen, and since the kitchen takes up almost half hte floorpsace in the house, that's a lot!

it looks fantastic. i was worried it would unravel, but apparently it doesnt.

The strands are woven in quite tightly Minnie. If you wanted to you could go along and pull bits out with your fingers, but they won't just fall out. My home's wall to wall carpet is similar. You can pull bits of that out too and yet regular use and vacuuming does not harm it.
