And a Scarf Too!

My second attempt at a scarf was successful!

Like the cardigan, the table runner, and the little purse, this too was made with the "tsunami of wool" I received in September of 2006.

And I still have more.

You're making wonderful stuff with those looms of yours. :-)

Wow. Weaving is a mystery to me, which is why it interests me. I'm resisting though...I did look at some looms at the Knitter's Fair. Shhhhh! I'm resisting. LOL

sing it with me: "this is the wool that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friends. somebody started spinning it not knowing what it was, and she'll continue spinning it forever just because this is the wool that never ends . . . "

beat me later.

Thanks Laura. It's great fun. I'm hoping that after I spend some time with simple projects on the rigid heddle loom I will build up my confidence to once again tackle my table loom (equiped with 8 harness --- only 4 of which I have ever used). I love, love, LOVE weaving, but struggle with the warping of a regular loom to the extent that it discourages me. This peg method of warping is so simple that I even enjoy that part of the project.

Hmmm Michelle, I seem to recall you saying similar things about spinning and look at you now, sucked right into the spinning vortex. It won't be long before weaving jumps out and bites you too. There is something about being a fiber addict. Knitting is only the gateway drug.

Oh yes Minnie, this does seem to be the fleece that never ends. I HAVE come to the end of spinning it, but using up the resulting yarn will take some more time.

Oh, and no, I won't beat you but I might get you back by singing "Llama, Llama, Duck".
