Huckleberry Chuckle

I couldn't resist giving this scarf an offbeat name. "Huckleberry Chuckle" it is, named for the berry stained grin of the picker with the least amount of berries remaining in her gathering basket.

Knit from handspun, laceweight, 2 ply merino/silk (from hand painted roving by "Fleece Artist"). It's three multiples of "Porcupine Stitch" from Barbara G. Walker's "A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns", using 3.75 mm needles.

The final scarf is 6" x 67".

Oh, that's gorgeous!

Um, I did three rows on a washcloth this week. That's it. I suppose I should post progress pictures *g*

I love it!! BEAUTIFUL colors and pattern. Not to mention the good-looking model...smile. I like the name you've given your scarf...thats fun.~~ I have 8 inchs (1 more skein) to go on the baby blanket I'm working on. The basketweave pattern is really nice..but I'll be so glad to be done with it. Enough already!

Wow, very beautiful! Will it be for sale? I'm sure it will get taken right away.

I'm not sure if I'll sell it or not Nicole. I have a difficult time letting go of my creations, especially if they behave themselves and turn out well. After several months go by I am less attached to a project, but the show and sale is coming up soon and I haven't had time to "release" this one. ;-)
