Okay----very funny. You can stop now. No. Really. Enough snow. It was romantic in early December, perhaps even inspired the humming of traditional seasonal tunes on Christmas Eve, but in late February? Not!

my sentiments exactly...we had a thaw last week and were left with almost no snow then wham! all white again. Expecting several days of snow in the next week.
I agree, but that sure is a pretty picture. ;-)

Oh we've been completely snow free here for a while Chriss. It was quite easy to mistakenly think we were well into spring. I wasn't kidding about the tulips. Under all that snow the tulips are 3 or 4 inches tall already.

I feel for you...
I couldn't have said it any better. I once lived where snow was a many-month part of life each year. I now live where it is supposed to be a once-in-a-while thing only some years. This year has been breaking the rules - and I like the rules we have!

That's the way it's supposed to be here too Ruby. I come from farther north where winters were longer, colder and always involved snow, but have lived here in southern BC for almost 20 years now. I've gotten used to the idea that many years we see no snow at all. When we do it is usually brief, often only a skiff on the ground, and certainly not repeated over and over through the winter.
Can I trade you one day of snow for one at a cold rocky foggy beach? It's the best I've got to offer here.
