Shapely Torso

Working on a design to fit 16" Fairyland Minifee dolls. This one is for a swap of sorts but maybe the next one can be for one of my girls.

shaping

I'm really pleased with how well the shaping through the body went. Now on to the neckline details.

It looks fantastic so far! The fit seems perfect. Can't wait to see it all finished.

Oh, I hope you're planning to make a pattern of this. The fit is lovely through the torso. What kind of neckline details will you be adding?

I've been taking notes as I go, nonniemous, so there is a pretty good chance that I will develop a pattern, but it won't be for a while yet. These fine gauge MiniFee sweaters take a long time to knit let alone design and write a pattern for. If I do make up a pattern I think it will have several different neckline options, but all with the super fitted torso. This particular one will have a cable. Stay tuned.

Now I suppose I'm going to have to buy this doll so I can knit this design!!! Lol

Well maybe not just for this one design Anonymous. There are lots of nice sweaters designed specifically for this size of doll, and human sized sweaters are often simple to scale down to fit just by using finer needles and laceweight yarn.
