Cotton Sheep Pullover

It's finished. The sheep-like cotton blend pullover is off the needles, sewn together and washed.

I designed it to be worn over summer tops when the night air turns chilly. It is so comfy and soft I am sure it will become one of my favorites.

  1. You look smashing in your new and comfy looking sweater. Good idea too to wear over summer tops...hmmm now that's a good idea. I fear that I would look ridiculously top heavy in that v-neck shape. It's almost got a school sweater look to it, but in a mohair type of wool, well at least from picture... LOVE the look of the wool.

    Cheers,
    Suzanne

  2. Suzanne, I AM ridiculously top heavy and I find that it looks fine. It could be because the "V" starts well below the bustline.

It's not mohair, but a terry-like cotton blend, Skacel "Vacation" 75% Cotton, 25% Nylon. You can get a closer look at the yarn at:

  3. So like are there four of you or something? In the time that it takes me to make a dishcloth, you make three sweaters; birth, grow, shear and spin a sheep; refinish enough furniture to seat the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and make jam.

    Man, you rock.

  4. Rabbitch, I have been very busy and productive lately, but don't negate your own accomplishments. I am not juggling two jobs to support my family, raising an active child AND finding time on the side to knit dishcloths. This creative stuff and a little housework and cooking/baking is ALL I do.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do live in Paradise.
