Oh wait, you don't want to see them like that, flat and from the side looking almost like ordinary socks.
No, no, you'd be wanting a close-up claw view shot, where they are looking more wildly feline.
How about one in repose?
And another looking a bit bashful?
We'll finish off with an up close look at the heels....just because I love the look of the squishy, cushioned heel done in heel stitch.
That touch really takes them from ordinary to extraordinary! Kudos for thinking outside the box!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! I LOVE them!!! Yes, I thought they were very nice socks at first but then I saw the tiger toes! THAT is great! Good work.
ReplyDeleteThose are just awesome. I love the embroidered toes.
ReplyDeletevery very adorable. :-)
ReplyDeleteTiger Paws....now you need the Esso gasoline and the Frosted Flakes and there were Tiger Paw tires, too!!! These are just too terrific....like Tony the Tiger says, "They're Grrr-eat!"
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the toes.
ReplyDeleteI love them ... totally cool socks. Be careful you don't scratch the insides of your shoes. :-)
ReplyDeleteOoooo those socks are adorable! Wait...this is a tiger we're talking about here. Okay: those are FIERCE! :) they look great
ReplyDeleteWould you kindly tell me how to do the heel part of your awesome socks?
ReplyDeleteYou've got me laughing!!! They are super...any tiger would be proud to wear them but none with more enjoyment than the knitter...I'll bet!

ReplyDeleteThe information I use to turn a heel and do heel stitch is a copywrite of the pattern software I use, but there is a very good tutorial on heel stitch here:

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Chelsea but the look is very dependent on the tiger striping sock yarn put out at one time by Opal. They no longer make it so there is no point in going to all the work required to write up the pattern if no one is able to buy the tiger striped yarn.
