Flaming Dumpling
My second felted "Dumpling Bag" (pattern for basic bag is in Interweave Knits, Fall 2008). This one is a little more elongated than the last so that I could fit in the flames.
I used the graph from Melanie Gibbons "Hot Rod Socks" pattern. Given my blog name of "Wovenflame" it was a "must do" don't you think?

ReplyDeleteYes I do think it matches the title of your blog to a tee. I think those dumpling bags are the cutest things but couldn't bring myself to pay the price of the magazine to get the pattern. Like I don't have enough on my knitting list right now...grin..sigh.

ReplyDeleteI'm not very good at the blog alterations Nicole, but I have thought about trying to weave or knit some kind of a flaming banner to photograph for my header. The hard part for me would be the formatting.
