Yesterday I spent a few enjoyable hours sewing a new dress for Shannon.
She wore it today for an outdoor photoshoot.
And while she was out there she attracted a curious onlooker.
Luckily for Shannon, Shelby didn't try to sniff her butt.

Lariat Minifee Sweater
You'd think from the lack of updates here that perhaps I hadn't been doing much. But on the contrary, life got busy and I inadvertently neglected my blog.
The last you heard from me I was working on a new sweater pattern, this time for the Minifee sized dolls. Well, it's finished and available for sale at Ravelry for $6.95 U.S.
Here it is, the Lariat Minifee Sweater. This one, in KnitPicks Shadow laceweight in the "Oregon Coast Heather" colourway was done as part of an exchange of services.
Candace was a little sad to see it go!
But luckily for her I had to knit a second one to test the pattern I was getting ready for sale.
The second one is knit in my own handspun, hand dyed, camel/silk laceweight.
I made a few adjustments to the pattern as I went. I changed the way the waist shaping was done so that the line of increases and decreases was less noticeable but it still retained the original's curvy silhouette.
As I had hoped, it also fits Delilah Noir. And as the two dolls are very similar in size, I think it will also fit Ellowyne Wilde. I'll be doing a test fit on Ellowyne later today.

Nearly There
I've been working lately on getting another knitting pattern for dolls ready for sale.
This will be my first pattern for 1/4 scale dolls.
It was fitted on a Fairyland Minifee doll, but it will likely fit vinyl Delilah Noir and Ellowyne Wilde as well.
I'll be test fitting it on those two in the next couple of days.
A bit of final editing to do and then the pattern will be on sale through Ravelry as an automatic PDF download.

Shelf Sitters
If Peanut, Pumpkin, and Serenity decide they like it, they might end up sitting here, on a shelf of the computer desk's hutch.
If I do make those sort of changes I'll have room on the other cabinet, where they had been located, to eventually have two new Minifees. That way Shannon and Candace could both have their own bodies and maybe one of them could have a boyfriend. Hmmm......and where do I find the money for these additional dolls? Perhaps some of the really tiny ones might have to go "travelling". My Pukipuki, is ready and willing, but the RealPukies, Mr Magoo and Ms Muffet might be harder to convince.

Thrift Store Score
The dollar store chairs that I use for the LittleFees are a bit too small for the bigger girls so I've really been wanting a chair (or two) for the Minifees. I scrounged around all day in every local thrift store I could think of and actually found what I was looking for!
Shannon's 75 cent chair!
And while I was looking for chairs I also found this shelf for the tiniest dolls and some of their stuff.
