I hope Trixie remembers to bring Benjamin Bowser's leash. When the wagon is full of donations he'll have to get out and walk.

Happy Halloween!
Trixe and Flame are all dressed in their costumes and ready for a fun night of Trick-or-Treating. They are a little concerned that their dedication to collecting donations for the charity food drive might slow them down.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I finished weaving the red yardage and had a rare urge to do some crocheting.
Trixie received a Valentine's Day dress from my efforts.
I used a pattern for a real baby dress as a jumping off point, but heavily modified it to have separate, contrasting ruffles and a channel for a pretty ribbon. Of course I also miniaturized the pattern by using size 30 thread and a 1.25mm hook. I then added a teeny, tiny crocheted heart.
Flame never received any new clothing but he still worked hard to make a Valentine for you.

Trixie's Introduction
I've been selling off some of my dolls, my interest in them waning and my available time being dedicated to other hobbies. I'm working my way down to just two dolls, but a fun little newcomer arrived today.
This is Trixie. She is a bit of an impulse buy, and technically she was only a "faceplate", not a full doll.
Trouble was the Sira faceplate is not all that easy to come by, especially if you are downsizing your collection and not wanting to buy additional dolls. Sira is a limited edition "event faceplate", a gift with purchase incentive. You can only get one by placing an order of a qualifying dollar amount, or by buying from the second hand Marketplace.
So when my friend and doll artist, "Ban Sidhe", mentioned that she had ordered during the promotional period I asked her if she had qualified for the limit edition special gift faceplate, the Sira.
When Trixie arrived she immediately took over Tingle's body and pronounced it a perfect fit. Poor Tingle might be moving along to a new home shortly as I truly do intend to limit myself to only two dolls. I like that Trixie's large, upturned elfish ears and happy, mischievous expression are a better match for the happy, playful Flame.

When the new Fairyland Realfee face sculpt, "Sira", was introduced a few months ago I instantly fell in love. The face reminded me so much of my eldest daughter, Lisa, when she was just an infant. For several months after she was born Lisa always had the tip of her tongue hanging out, even for portraits!

She had indeed, but had no specific plans for the qualifying gift faceplate and agreed to not only sell it to me, but to modify the tongue to a shorter, rounded shape and to give the modified faceplate a faceup before mailing it to me.

Runaround Bag
I’ve been sewing.
Fun little Runaround Bag sewn using a pattern from Craftsy (I’m not affiliated, link is for your convenience).
I purchased the pattern thinking it might work well in Saori fabric and I could sell a few in the guild’s Christmas Craft Fair, but if I’m to do that the pattern will require some reworking. After reading/making the pattern I see that the lower section, front and back, where I would put the handwoven fabric, is actually cut in one piece that, during a clever zipper installation technique, makes the lining at the same time. Obviously it would be ineffective, and a waste, to use handwoven fabric on the inside where it will not be seen. I’ll need to split that piece in half and add seam allowances if I want to try it with handwoven fabric.
The bag is a great size for my dog walks. It fits my iPhone (as a size reference an iPhone 5S fits laying sideways across the bottom no problem), house keys, and a bunch of “poo bags”. I could easily fit things like lipstick and a thin wallet in there too if I was going out for longer and didn’t want to take a full sized purse.
There shall be more.

Hot Weather Wear
We've been having some warm weather and poor Flame was roasting in his long pants and long sleeved shirt.

I took pity on him and let him take off his shirt.

He was happy about that, but after a recent visit by my granddaughter I found him sobbing in the corner -- wearing a DRESS! My granddaughter doesn't think children should go around half naked, not even small elf boys, so she put the dress on him to cover up his bare chest.
If you are a regular reader you might know that Flame originally had a female body and had to wait for months for Tingle to bring him a male body. After all that waiting to be a real elf boy he just couldn't bear the humiliation of wearing a dress.
I told him he was welcome to dig through my fabric stash to find something he would like for a summer t-shirt. He chose a bright and cheerful yellow and I made up his t-shirt that same afternoon.
With temperatures rising and a long summer ahead of us I thought he deserved a pair of shorts too. I randomly chopped some length off of my existing Realfee pants pattern and sewed some simple shorts.
Next time I think I'll make them a bit shorter yet. What do you think? How long should a little elf boy's shorts be anyway? Would mid knee cap be about right?

Tingle's Home!
Tingle is back from her trip to Ban's Boutique.

Ban did a wonderful job of painting Tingle's face and blushing both sets of Realfee hands.

Flame is very glad to have his good friend (and his hands!) back.

The weather has changed a lot since Tingle left and the area has sprung into bloom. Flame has been pointing out all the beautiful flowers.

Penny is Feeling Neglected
Flame found Penny hidden away in a box a while back and thought it was high time she came out for some air.

She's cute as ever but I don't do much with her. If I'm offered a decent price for her she might decide to travel to a home where she gets more attention.

I'd even part with her gorgeous crib, dresser and toy box for the right price.

Her clothing and shoes would be up for grabs too. Open to offers.
Edited to add: Asking $350 US for Penny and her furniture. Extras like clothing and accessories can be negotiated.

A Body Swap
A small box arrived from Korea today.
In fact he was rather impatient when Peanut paused in the unwrapping to look at the unfamiliar Korean writing on the newspaper used as packaging.
As Peanut and Neelie struggled to dig out the pretty Fairyland Littlefee box Flame was no help at all. He was too busy ---- ---- ---- ----
---- ---- ---- undressing?!!
On the way back he stopped by the clothing box and dug out the dress and leggings Auntie Ban sent. He knew for certain that they were comfy and would fit perfectly. He had tried them on that body already you see.
The new girl thanked him for the clothing but shyly asked about the lack of hair. Trust a boy to forget about something like that!
Flame took Tingle by that hand and gave her a guided tour of the Tulusson family shelf.
Neelie, Flame and Peanut were eager to check it out. Especially Flame. He had an urgent reason for wanting to free the contents.
As Peanut and Neelie struggled to dig out the pretty Fairyland Littlefee box Flame was no help at all. He was too busy ---- ---- ---- ----
---- ---- ---- undressing?!!
Neelie was horrified! Just when they were trying to make a good impression on the new arrival Flame had to go and do something like this!
Peanut, on the other hand, didn't notice. She was too busy reading the new comer's Certificate of Authenticity. I think she's a little jealous. She's old enough that she was born before Fairyland started providing these certificates.
Flame urged Peanut to just forget about it and get on with the box opening. He said he'd been waiting far too long to put up with further delays now ---- ---- ---- and he continued to shuck his clothes.
For you see Flame knew something about this new "girl" that the others didn't. He knew she would arrive sporting a brand new BOY body ---- ---- ---- for him! And he was all for making the trade as quickly as possible.
Once he got settled into the body of his dreams he passed along the older, slightly used FEMALE model he'd been stuck with these past few months. He could hardly wait to run off to the bathroom to try peeing standing up.
The new girl thanked him for the clothing but shyly asked about the lack of hair. Trust a boy to forget about something like that!
A wig was found and then, feeling a little more at ease, she announced that her name was TINGLE.
Flame hopes they will be great friends.

Bear Necessities
Flame watched expectantly while I put the finishing touches on a special outfit he's been longing for.
I used a Pukifee pattern by DGRequeim on Etsy. For it to fit the larger Realfee dolls I had to make a number of adjustments. I had it printed out at 131% and then added additional length to the body and legs and subtracted a little from the length of the sleeves.
Flame was eager to test the fit.
And was thrilled to find it fit perfectly. I was more concerned than he was about the possibility of cold feet, but he agreed to wear the slippers I made to go with the Kigurumi Pajama costume.
He's been practicing his best roar all afternoon.
He's even found a "cave" to hide in waiting for a chance to jump out and scare the girls.
Honestly though, I think they are more likely to be jealous than afraid. I'll probably have to make a costume for Neelie and Peanut too.

It's Christmas!
All too early the kids woke up and realized that it was Christmas morning. Their giggles woke the grown ups.
Stockings were dumped out and presents were enthusiastically ripped into.
Neelie's Little Tykes equipment was a big hit. Santa must have had a tough time dragging that down the chimney!
Which was great because it gave Zenawii a chance to get the turkey into the oven while Elfonda made breakfast.
Flame made sure that Zenawii and Elfonda opened some presents too.
He could hardly wait for everyone to open the gifts he had chosen.
Elfonda loved the necklace Flame made for her.
