Hoppy Easter!

A couple of monsters hopped on by to wish you a Happy Easter.

I sewed the kigurumi bunny pajamas using a pattern by DGRequiem. The costumes will be given as little Easter gifts to my granddaughters. The much battered and abused Monster High models that live in Grandma's Toybox kindly agreed to model them for my blog first.

Penny is Feeling Neglected

Flame found Penny hidden away in a box a while back and thought it was high time she came out for some air.

Flame and Penny

She's cute as ever but I don't do much with her. If I'm offered a decent price for her she might decide to travel to a home where she gets more attention.

I'd even part with her gorgeous crib, dresser and toy box for the right price.

Goggy

Her clothing and shoes would be up for grabs too. Open to offers.

Edited to add: Asking $350 US for Penny and her furniture. Extras like clothing and accessories can be negotiated.

Spinning Revisited

Okay, so it's not much, but at least it's something. It's been a long while since I've done any spinning. I think the last time was at a spin-in back in October of last year.

This is a 50g skein of 50/50 camel/silk spun at a lace-weight. It has a lovely sheen not fully captured in the photo and is very soft. Not sure what to use it for though. It might be enough for a  small scarf.

Knitting Injury

It's been so long since I've done more than a few minutes of knitting in one day that a couple of hours of knitting yesterday left me with a very sore arm. It hurt enough in the night to wake me several times!

The pain may be worth it though as I finally have some progress to show on my Celtic Cardigan.

I actually finished the back yesterday! It's not that it is such a slow knit or anything, it's just that I haven't been working on it regularly.
