With the highs always at least 18°C and usually in the 30°C and over range, July was a very HOT month here in Chilliwack, BC. We even had a couple of days where we reached my hottest available colour, "garnet", which represents the 33 - 35°C range (91.4° - 95°F).

I would have had to make my own color - California hit 118F several days in a row (So many days - why do I live here?).
Not that I did any knitting on those days. The cat and I mostly spent time in the bathtub filled with ice.
July does look pretty awesome on your scarf though!
