Masters Monday - 10

Today's Masters Monday post is a little late because I was busy ---

--- FINISHING! I'm done, I'm done, I'm Sooooo DONE!

That's my binder at the top, ready to hand in. I spent nearly the entire day going through the rest of these books and a long list of online resources (for a second time!) so I could write out my reference list and bibliography. I knew about the bibliography and had added to that as I worked on the swatches and questions, but I had somehow missed the fact that my "Blocking and Care of Knits" report had to include my references. I had done all my research, taking notes from each source I could find, and had then compiled the report from my notes --- but I had not written down my sources or page numbers. I had to look everything up a second time. *sigh*

Note to those just starting the program: Every time you crack open a book or magazine, or find a valuable online source, WRITE IT DOWN!

Congratulations! I bet it feels great! Now we'll all eagerly await your results...

I'm working on the cables. Knit a row, nurse the baby, knit a row, nurse the baby... :)

Awesome, Marlene!

So, once you get it handed in, how long do you have to wait for a reply?

Thanks everyone. It feels great to have that out of the way.

The instructions say to allow 6 - 8 weeks for it to be evaluated and returned Laura. I've heard of one person who waited longer, and an American who got hers back in only 12 days. I'm Canadian and I'm quite used to the mail taking forever and/or things getting delayed at the border.

A hearty congratulations!! I know you will pass with flying colors. I know I will get around to mine eventually, but for now I need to concentrate on my college classes - Bachelor's degree first, Master's (of knitting) second!

Congratulations, Marlene! I've been enjoying reading your progress. Isn't it a great feeling to get the level completed?

May your review be favorable and your resubmissions be few. :)

Thanks Dorothy. When I mailed the binder away I was informed it could take 14 days to get there. Add the actual evaluation time and then the mail time back and I could be waiting quite some time. I'll try to make good use of my time getting a few other things finished up.

Congratulations!

It looks like you took this seriously and put all you could into it. For that, I believe you shall be rewarded.

Can't wait to hear how well you did!
