Baa Baa Black Sheep

Baa Baa Black Sheep have you any cookies?

Image hosted by

I spotted this cutie in the Sears catalogue and just had to pick her up. She'll be perfect for the spinning guild's Christmas gift exchange. Don't you just love the socks? I'm sure they must be handknit of handspun. ;-)

If anyone knows of a source for sheep shaped cookie cutters, speak up. I'd love to fill this with sheep cookies as part of the gift.

I found this when I googled sheep cookie cutter:

Thanks Fraggle. That one's great. Unfortunately they only ship to the US or Japan and I live in Canada.

I've investigated a few other sites too, and unfortunately when I add on shipping things get too pricey. Maybe I can look into making my own.

Howdy :)
I found Off the beaten Path. The link takes you to the cookie cutters in the shape of sheep. The shipping is only $4.25 to canada which I think is reasonable.

I guess it just depends on how fast you need it.

Hope that helps :)

she looks like a blackberry with a sheep face! too cute! did you ever get your sheep cookie cutters? if they won't ship to canada, you could have them shipped to me, andi could ship them to you.

and the baby socks are darling

Maybe she can be a sheep named "Blackberry"? The painting is certainly not well thought out or done. Why did they choose flesh colour for the face?! It IS funny though, and for a "$5 to $10 gift" for an exchange I think it's not too bad.

Thanks everyone, for the help finding sheepy cookie cutters. I've reconsidered and think I better forget about it if I can't find them locally. The gift for the exchange is supposed to be in the 5 to 10 dollar range and I am already at the higher end of that. I'll bake a few cookies to fill the container but they may not be sheep shaped. Thanks for the suggestions though, and thanks for the offer of shipping, dragon knitter.
