Spindling Spring Colour

On the spindle: Handdyed Merino Sliver by Fleece Artist.

The braided roving was quite compact from the dyeing process (perhaps a little felted?) so I had to predraft quite carefully and I'm still finding it necessary to "park and draft" some stubborn sections.

What a pretty color for spring...I'll look forward to seeing what you make.

I had nothing in particular in mind when I bought this roving Maggie Ann. I found it at a closing out sale and bought it for its cheerful colour.

Lovely colors, and it is spinning up even nicer!

I haven't been by for a while - family circumstances haven't allowed much time to blog - but I'm delighted to see that your little granddaughter has arrived. She's lovely! (I'm so jealous. )

She overlapped with my dad's life just a tiny bit. Hope for the future!
