very very cute i did that on a monkey backpack once unfortunatly it broke into a thousand pieces it was one of my first projects and it was getting to much use and just came apart :/ oh well but elmo looks oh so handsome great job ^_^
I tried a hair trimmer CTJen, but the FunFur was too coarse. I ended up going over the whole thing with a comb and a pair of sharp scissors. It took a long time and got furry bits all over the place!
Isn't Elmo the happiest looking fellow! You did beautiful work as always Marlene. I haven't been doing any knitting at all for about a month. I do miss it once in a while and will get back to it once the holidays are over. I am starting to get the 'hang' of semi-woolen long draw spinning. Ruth told me how to make a rolag out of combed top. Yippee ...it actually works!

that is really sweet. I was wondering how you were going to manage the furriness of the fun fur. Did you use a beard and mustache trimmer? LOL.

That is adorable! It's going to be a hands down favorite.
That is one cute sweater, and lucky kid!! So adorable, she's going to love it.
LMAO on the furriness!!! The trimmed version looks great... Kaylen is going to be so happy!!!
That is just so cute I can't stand it...and the trim made it perfect.

Super cute... talk about a crazy lot of work. You are so dedicated! :) That's love.
That is adorable! I keep waiting for Elmo to say something, he looks so alive. Well done!
P.S. I was hoping that you would try the double knitting first and let me know how it goes. (grin)
That is so cute! I love the shaved Elmo.
ELMO GOT A HAIRCUT! Boy, I think you are on to something here! This just makes me chuckle OUTLOUD sitting here! Love it!
Oh! What a cool idea, I like that! But giving a sweater a haircut--how funny is that!
