Fiddle Fingers
I give you another Ice Drop photo. It's either that or no blog post at all since my creative time has been taken up with tatting these little things lately.
I'll be back to the weaving soon. Or sewing. Perhaps crochet, knitting, embroidery or spinning? I never really know where the creative muse may be headed next.
Your muse must be like mine...just a bit "flighty" as my grandmother would have said. I never know what will be the next thing on her list for me to try/do/start.
I have a family member that has encouraged me to get back to weaving Gene and another that has mentioned the more profitable knitting pattern designing, but as you well know there is no fighting the Creative Muse. Until the muse is off the tatting kick I might as well give in because any opposition and the Muse gets mean and ruins anything else I might try to work on.
Marlene, this ice drop is so pretty and makes me think of spring. I have done lots of sewing this past winter. Taking a break from that and knitting some socks after an 8 yr. of not making any. I well know, the muse or mood, has to be with me when I am making things. Happy Easter to you and your family.
I've been doing more tatting than anything else lately, dynnamae, but in part I think it is because my sewing and weaving areas have become so overcrowded that it's just not fun being in there anymore. The tatting takes up little space and can be done sitting in my comfy chair in the living room. I'd like to go in and organize and create more space but, really, the problem is more lack of space than it is disorganization or clutter. I have too many hobbies crammed into too small of a space.
