Passing Ashcroft
With another 6.42 miles added today, I've now passed Ashcroft, BC on my way to running the distance from Chilliwack to Prince George (a total of 329 miles) by April 1st.
wow, so you are actually 'running' (on a treadmill?) How long have you been running? I just love the Master knitting post...so you have to make those little tags for each piece? So informative.
I'm running on an elliptical trainer PJ. It's hard to describe if you've never seen one. It's like a cross between running on a treadmill, riding a stationary bike that you pedal while standing, and the arm involvement of a cross country ski machine. Not exactly like any of them though --- an hybrid! Rest assured, it is a good workout. I get my heart rate right up there, sweat like a work horse, and burn a lot of calories. I don't notice it so much now, but it is also good for toning the muscles all over your body.
I've been running on the elliptical trainer since about May or June, and I was using a seated stepper before that. I've only been adding up my miles for the "run to PG" since early January.
Yes, the Master Knitters program requires that each swatch be tagged with the swatch # and name, the yarn used, and a reference for the technique involved. I know not everyone lists EVERY technique (such as the cast on and cast off used) on each swatch but the instructors have said that the information is appreciated.
