It came out at 21-22 WPI, a very respectable laceweight. I dutifully recorded both weight and length and then promptly lost the scrap of paper. I know the larger skein was somewhere around 360 metres so I figure I have more than enough for a lace scarf but not enough for a shawl.
Some day I would like to have enough of this stuff to roll around naked in. It's that good.

It's beautiful! I haven't even thought of tackling that huge bag of llama I have sitting in my studio. Um, in fact I don't really know what to do with it. I'm sort of thinking of trying to mix a little with the moorit (of which I also have a huge sack) and see what happens.
I need more lessons. And more time.

Gorgeous Llama!! Makes me itch to get into that big box of 'fresh off the hoof' llama that I was gifted with a couple of years ago!! I managed to spin a skein or two before I got sidetracked . . . sob. Its sooooo very lovely when spun up! I hope you make something luscious for yourself! And congrats on the grandchild-be-be!! Just think about all the little goodies you can knit up!!
Ohhh, it's lovely! I love the colour. I can't wait to become better at spinning and trying my hand at spinning all these different fibres available.
