Party Perfect Pukifee

I've had so much fun today finishing off this little outfit for my Pukifee, Serenity.

Party Dress

The pattern is my own design and will be included in the Pukifee knitting pattern package that I'm working on.

I also sewed her little matching tights. The sewing pattern for those is also my own creation. I "guesstimated" the shape and size and they turned out perfectly, FIRST try even! I was so surprised. If I had known it would go so well I would have attempted it sooner.

The tights, before pulling them up over her legs, were so teeny that they were about the width of linguine noodles!

Your creativity is just amazing. Love looking at the outfits you make - they really match the personality of the dolls.

Love this one so much <3 Makes me wish I had a pukifee right now!

Serenity's body language is also awesome. Love how you pose her :)

Thanks Marjorie. It's easy being creative when I have such willing models working for me. With the outfits, I try to match the personality of the pose to the "mood" of the outfit.

Well you know what you'll have to do about that Mighella!

I owe Serenity's awesome posing ability to the company that made her. Fairyland does such a wonderful job of the joints and balance of these dolls that they are well known to be incredible posers.

Lovely dress on a lovely girl. :) Your creations make me want to go back to my crocheting lessons, just wish day was few hours longer.
I'm not sure about it but knitting is a little more difficult than crocheting, isn't it? At least that's what my grandmother told me.

Thanks for the compliment on my doll and her outfit, Beatrix.

No, knitting is not more difficult than crochet, but it is quite different. To put it in perspective for you, I was taught to knit when I was 7 and many children are taught at an even younger age than that. If little kids can do it then I would think that it is within the reach of most grownups too. The big thing with learning any new discipline is "practice, practice, practice".
